TLA Partners with Redfish Nation to Launch 1st Ever All-Ladies Redfish Shootout

As some of you may know, we will be launching the 1st-ever all-ladies Redfish Shootout in 2006. And as part of these efforts, we are excited to announce that we will be partnering with the Redfish Nation to ensure a successful event.

Here is a letter from David Healy, Director of the Redfish Nation:

February 24, 2006

One of the wonderful things about fishing is that is does not discriminate. Fish don't know and don't care if an angler is young, old, short, tall, black, white…male or female.

The Redfish Nation sees things exactly the same way. There is only one common factor among our nearly 3000 members nationwide – you have to have some passion, some curiosity for redfish.

We have members from the Great Lakes , the west coast and the northeast. But they all want to know more about a species that can provide a ton of fun and excitement for every member of the family.

When we learned about the Texas Lady Anglers several months ago it sounded like us. We figured it had to be a group full of curious, passionate members. When we began speaking with Pat and Patti that assumption was confirmed.

Today we are thrilled to join forces with the Texas Lady Anglers as an officially sanctioned Club affiliate. We look forward to providing what we can to make the experience more fun, more inviting and more rewarding for everyone who participates in TLA activities.

By sanctioning TLA tournaments and providing exposure for the group and its members through our Redfish Nation magazine and websites we hope we can bring a little extra value to your involvement with the organization and fuel your passion every time you are on the water.

Like any good relationship, we know we'll learn a few things along the way, but everyone at the Redfish Nation is eager to share our passion. Thanks for having us and welcome to the Nation!

Sincerely,

David Healy

Director
